The dress code for the King and Queen float really doesn't change much over the years. The King and Queen will be wearing Crowns and Capes. Since the theme this year is basically Vampires, walkers, escorts and support personnel should be costumed as Vampires, but with a royal touch. They should view themselves as the royal court, a type of wealthy vampire nobility, aristocratic, princes, princesses, dukes, duchesses, the very ancient refined "elders" of Vampire ancestry.
(Please no heavy gore, slasher - hacker type vampires) Wealthy, fancy, elegant costumes, lots of bling, gold chains, huge ridiculous rings, what ever you feel will make you look like old European royal vampires. Also, instead of walking around with plastic cups, beer cans, etc, we suggest all walkers to use the fancy prop Goblets so graciously provided to us by Rochelle. These will be handed out at the line up area. (Or you can even make your own to suit your own individual style costume).
We also encourage all participants if possible to chip in and donate whatever they can to the group in the form of soft drinks, beers, water, snacks, "blood", whatever you can. :) Last year we ran a little short on bottled water, so, every little bit helps. Thanks for your participation in this year's Fantasy Fest, and as always, have fun, be safe, and may all your Fantasies come true. |
