Stage 1. Initial trailer.
Stage 2. Primary carpentry. Elevated stage, leveled off the rear ramp, added trim around perimeter of the deck for staple-gunned fringe and twist. Main mast will be used to support circular back drop.
Stage 3. Paint and trim. Flat black to cover the undercarriage, and silver wheels to make it look more sporty. Installed custom bead rack with a whopping 7 peg comb, and 4 high performance cup holders, (Edna Mote voice- "that's an added feature daaahling)
Stage 4. Hot rod Flames not only make the float go faster, they also increase the fuel octane by 35%, affording much more desirable gas mileage.
Put on chairs, trimmed with floral sheeting, fringe and twist. Final crown will be added on location at line up.

An 8 foot diameter back plate is made separately at home and attached at parade line up area to prevent damage during transport.

Final supplies are added to float on the way to the line up area Saturday morning.
Back plate is secured, sound system installed, and float is laden with beads, beads, and more beads.
The King and Queen float rolls out at 7:00 PM for the Fantasy Fest parade.
